Motion Math profiled in WSJ Tech Blog

Today the Wall Street Journal Tech Blog profiles Motion Math, delving into our design philosophy and future plans. Jennifer Valentino-DeVries writes “[Motion Math] chose to make a game about fractions because it’s a subject that is particularly tough for elementary-school students, and kids do better with fractions if they can develop a visceral understanding of them — something that sounds perfectly attuned to their “embodied cognition” theory….The long-term goal is to develop an infrastructure that includes data on how people play the game [which] could help the designers see how people play and solve problems.” Read the full article at
