We were very honored earlier this summer to be selected as a Finalist for the Innovations in Mobile Learning Prize, awarded for the first time this year by the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop.
The competition gave us a great opportunity to refine our vision for Motion Math and practice our presentation skills, but most importantly, we got to meet other great teams creating digital media for children, including Toontastic, from Launchpad Toys, and the contest winner, Project Noah. Lucky for us, the contest was held at the E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo in LA, so we were also able to sample some soon-to-be-released game technologies and titles, including movement-based systems such as Microsoft Kinect. Many thanks to the Cooney Center for the honor and the experience. You can read the Stanford Ed School’s write up here.
