What I’m doing for Motion Math:
As Motion Math’s social media marketer, I listen to what parents and teachers find important in educational products – on the social web (blog, Twitter, Facebook & Pinterest) and handle all things customer support, marketing programs, partnerships, and public relations. I’m excited to connect parents and teachers with fun, engaging, interactive math games for kids.
I started teaching and running tutoring programs when I was 16, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, teaching kindergarten and 1st grade Sunday School, while organizing the tutoring program at John Marshall High School. Eventually, I became a counselor at the Pre-freshman Engineering Program at St. Mary’s University as well as a tutor for The Princeton Review. The positive impact I had on my students gave me great joy, and I get the same joy working with Motion Math’s learners.
